Angel Cherry is a professional makeup artist born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. The previous fashion designer moved to New Jersey where she transitioned her craft into makeup artistry at the age of 19.
At the age of 22 is when her career as an artist started to take form. Cherry worked for the top cosmetic and skincare companies as The personal Beauty advisor/expert in new York City. While in New York working with celebrity eye-wear Designer's Coco and Breezy, got her noticed and received consistent work and networking opportunities.
Cherry was also known for being Angela Simmons personal MUA in NYC close to 5 years. Cherry also worked consistently with Fashionbombdaily.com Claire Sulmers and Prince prodigy Liv Warfield. Cherry also can add Vanessa Simmons,Cappie Pondexter, Keke Palmer, Justine Sky, Karen Civil and Jason Derulo to her list of celebrity clientele.
Cherry's work has been featured on several T.V Networks and in Print magazines such as japan Vogue, Essence, Sister 2 Sister, Ebony, and more. Cherry loves to create timeless beautiful makeup and has a passion for teaching.
Cherry launched her custom line of cruelty-free and Vegan cosmetic line VOID COSMETICS in 2012.
void is a unique lipstick line with a range of lipstick shades for all skin tones. Currently her line will relaunch May 2019.
Now at the age of 30. Cherry works as a freelance artist in her hometown of Charlotte, NC building her brand as a makeup artist, beauty and food blogger.
